Officials probed
Bhubaneswar: Three employees of a star hotel, which had sheltered the vice-chairman of a media organisation P.K. Iyer, wanted by the CBI were interrogated on Thursday. The three officials who were grilled by the police were the HR head, corporate security in-charge and the housekeeping in-charge of the star hotel.
Train death
Bhubaneswar: A 23-year-old woman died on Thursday after being run over by a train while she was crossing the railway track between Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar. Abhinetri Das was talking over her mobile phone when the accident happened. Police said the deceased was working with an IT company in Mancheswar industrial estate.
Revised marks
Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has uploaded the revised marks in mathematics on its website. Board president Dakshya Prasad Nanda said the new results have been uploaded on www.indiaresults.com after re-avaluation of the maths papers of the students who had applied for review.
