Money scam 

Bhubaneswar: The economic offences wing of the state crime branch on Thursday submitted a proposal to the finance department seeking attachment of assets of Shirdi Sai Estate Private Limited, a money deposit collection company. The property includes 1.0924acres in Kalarahanga and Baimunda Mouza worth Rs 60 lakh, one Ford Endeavour vehicle worth Rs 16.29 lakh and one Ford Fiesta worth Rs 7.58 lakh.

Food park

Bhubaneswar: Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) will set up a food park in Khurda at an estimated cost of Rs 470 crore. A land allotment committee, chaired by chief secretary G.C.Pati, has recommended allotment of 30 acres for the project. 

Pulse prices 

Bhubaneswar: The state has urged the Centre to assign a government agency to ensure that the information of landing prices of imported pulses be disseminated on regular basis across the country to control the prices of the commodity.

Accident

Sambalpur: Two persons sustained injuries after the bike they were travelling in hit a tractor at Mandlia under Khetrajpur police station on Thursday. The injured have been identified as Jitendra Prasad, 24, and B. Pradhan, 23, of Bishnu Mandir Para in Burla.
