Rourkela, Sept. 22: The Rourkela police today arrested a woman Maoist from the forests of Saranda.

The police said Manguli Purti, alias Munguli Pui, 19, from Jharkhand, was arrested around 8am near Topadihi in K. Balang police limits. The joint search operation was being carried out on the Odisha-Jharkhand border by Special Operations Group jawans, District Voluntary Force and the local police.

She has confessed to being a Maoist.
