Rourkela: Police have detained an alleged inter-state fraudster.

Chetan Sharma, 30, a native of Jagda in Rourkela, was working in Bangalore.

Sharma has allegedly swindled Rs 27 lakh from gullible public in various states. The police have so far discovered more than twenty accounts in his names in various banks here.

Rourkela police superintendent Uma Shankar Dash said: "A team from Bangalore is coming here this evening to take him back for interrogation."
