Flu toll at 31

Bhubaneswar: One more person succumbed to swine flu on Wednesday taking the death toll due to the disease to 31 in the state. The victim is 67-year-old man and a resident of the capital city. He died while undergoing treatment at a city-based private hospital.

So far, the health department tested 940 swabs out of which 317 were diagnosed positive.

Puri: The process to reclaim the government land encroached by Dera Sacha Sauda ashram in Puri has been initiated on Wednesday. The ashram has encroached nearly 12 decimal of government land, a source said. Puri Tehsildar has made the requisition and started the eviction process according to the instructions of the district administration.
