Bhubaneswar, Nov. 23: Students appearing in the annual higher secondary examination in the state will fill up their forms online for the first time. The move, taken by the higher education department, aims to introduce automation in all admission and examination processes.

“There will be online form fill-up for students from all the streams appearing in their annual higher secondary education examination in 2012,” said controller of examinations (the Council of Higher Secondary Education) Jasobanta Beera.

The process will be carried out between December 15 and 18. Students need to submit a fee, along with the required documents, and the college authorities will fill up their forms on www.dheorissa.in. Those, who will miss the scheduled dates of online form fill-up, can do it between December 22 and 26, along with a late fee.

Exam fees would be transferred to banks through the real time gross settlement or the national electronics funds transfer system. After due verification, the final form data would be published on the website on January 20.

“The decision has already communicated the direction to all junior colleges across the state. To ensure that the process is done smoothly, teachers have been asked to attend software training in various nodal colleges,” Behera said.
