Missing Budhia

Bhubaneswar: The child welfare committee, Khurda, has asked police to trace teenage marathon runner Budhia Singh. The committee has also served a notice on the producer of Budhia’s biopic asking him to confirm that he had stayed in Mumbai for three days. There were also reports that he was holidaying with his mother in Tamil Nadu.  

VHP strike

Rourkela: A dawn-to-dusk bandh called by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad hit life in the city on Saturday. The strike was called following alleged circulation of an objectionable text and picture against a particular community on Friday. Vehicles were off the road and business establishments downed shutters.
