Ponzi raids

Bhubaneswar: The CBI on Tuesday raided nine properties of Ponzi firm Sastra Enterprises Limited across the country, including three in Bhubaneswar, Balasore and Bhadrak in the state. The company has allegedly duped investors of at least Rs 150 crores. The managing director of the company, V. Sampath, was arrested from Chennai in May 2013 and is currently lodged in Bargarh jail.

Book release

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik released two books on Nabakalebar 2015 at the state secretariat on Tuesday. The first one is a coffee table book titled Nabakalebar 2015 - a visual grandeur, published by the tourism department, and the second one is titled Nabakalebar 2015 - managing the event of the new millennium, published by the information and public relations department.
