IPS rejig

Bhubaneswar: The government on Monday effected a major rejig of IPS officers in the superintendent of police rank by transferring 21 officers. 2003-batch IPS officer Kavita Jalan replaced Sanjeev Arora as the deputy commissioner of Cuttack police. Arora has been made Angul police superintendent.

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday laid the foundation stone of an underground water reservoir at Gadhiakhal in BJB Nagar. The proposed reservoir, with a 2lakh-litre capacity.
