Sambalpur: The Junior Doctors’ Association (JDA) of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research), Burla, who had gone on strike demanding fulfilment of their demands on Sunday, returned to work on Tuesday following a meeting.

Bhubaneswar: Goons attacked a contractor over filing of tender papers at the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Tower premises here on Tuesday. The injured victim is being treated at Capital Hospital.

Iskcon case

Puri: A local court in Puri has reserved its judgment on the land encroachment case by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) and scheduled the final hearing date of the case to May 5. It will be held at the additional district magistrate’s court in Puri. On April 21, government officials had scrutinised the land documents of the proposed temple in Puri.
