OJEE dates

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities on Tuesday announced the schedule for admissions in ayurvedic and homeopathy courses. The online registration, choice filling and choice locking will start from Wednesday and continue till November 13 .

The temporary allotment list will be published on November 15 and will be followed by document verification process on November 16 and 17. The document verification will be done on at the OJEE Cell at Gandamunda, informed the authorities. Selected students are required to report at their respected institutes on November 21 for final admission.

Surrender

Malkangiri: A woman Maoist, injured in the recent encounter in Malkangiri district, surrendered on Tuesday. The Maoist, identified as Dhanmati Bhaja, of Dabuguda village surrendered before the Malkangiri SP. She was a member of the Kudumulugumma committee.

New airport

Bhubaneswar: Jharsuguda airport will be operational by May 2018. Airports Authority of India chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra said after a meeting with chief secretary A.P. Padhi that construction of the airport would be over by May 2018 instead of December 2018, the target set earlier.
