Vigilance raids

Bhubaneswar: The vigilance sleuths on raided the office and residences of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation Ltd financial controller Pranab Kumar Chand for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets beyond his 
income. The total assets calculated to more than Rs 80 lakh, which included gold and silver ornaments worth 
Rs 4.6 lakh.

Arrest

Bhubaneswar: The CBI on Friday arrested Dandapani Sethi of Zodiac Foundation, an 
absconding accused in connection with the money laundering scam. The firm is one of the 44 companies in the state, which are under the CBI scanner.

Road mishaps

Dhenkanal: Three persons died in a road mishp on Friday near Nimabahali village on National Highway No. 55. Two of them died on the spot when their indigo car dashed against a roadside tree. Just 50m from the spot, an oil tanker hit a motorcycle, killing the rider on the spot. His identity is yet to be 
ascertained.
