The process for admission to junior colleges across the state commenced on Monday. Students who want to apply online can download the common application form from www.dheodisha.gov.in, while those who want to do it offline can collect it from any of the 620 student academic management system resource centres across the state.
Sources in the higher education department have advised students to refer to last year’s cut-off marks (see chart), while applying for their choice of college or subject. This year the marks might vary either way by five per cent, an official said.
In another development, higher education minister Pradeep Panigrahi said that from this academic year the Plus Two courses would be framed in line with the Central Board of Secondary Education.
