Sambalpur, Oct. 4: Three persons, allegedly involved in the robbery of Utkal Grameen Bank at Chiplima, have been brought to Sambalpur from Bhilai in Chhattisgarh on judicial remand.
They will be interrogated about the robbery that had taken place in June last year. "Police had already arrested three persons and seized Rs 12.38 lakh. Now, another three accused have been brought on judicial remand," said inspector in charge of Burla police station Tophan Bag.
The accused brought here on judicial remand are Sonu, 35, of Ludhiana, Mohammed Nawab, 50, of Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh and Raju Thapa, 27, of Jharsuguda.
