Jagatsinghpur: Additional district & sessions judge on Tuesday sentenced a 28-year-old man to 10-year rigorous imprisonment for raping a 14-year-old physically-challenged girl three years back.

The convict Tapan Khuntia had raped the minor on March 10, 2015, near her house in Paradip. Pronouncing the verdict on the basis of circumstantial and medical evidence, the judge convicted Khuntia for rape and criminal intimation.
