Udalguri Eden FC Club’s striker Naseeb Soren,19, has recently done Assam proud by clinching the title of “Best Striker” in the National Integration Tour to Pune conducted by the army under Operation Sadbhavana in coordination with Pune-based NGO Aseem Foundation.

Top clubs of Pune played five matches against the Udalguri club and Soren stood out for his brilliant performance. He performed excellently in all the matches.

Soren has also been shortlisted by the national-level football clubs of Pune for his superb performance.

Soren, who belongs to the socio-economically backward Adivasi community, hails from Sapekhati village of Udalguri district on the.

Born in a farmer’s family, he is the third among four siblings. He would mesmerise football lovers by playing for local clubs since the tender age of nine.

Udalguri shares a boundary with Arunachal Pradesh and a border with Bhutan.
