Agartala, Feb. 5: This capital town may find its place in the country’s railway map in less than three years.

The railway authorities have been making all-out efforts to connect Agartala by the end of December 2006, Northeast Frontier Railway general manager (construction) N. Ramasubramaniam assured Tripura chief minister Manik Sarkar in a meeting here on Tuesday.

Ramasubramaniam, inspected the ongoing construction for connecting Manu in Dhalai district with Agartala.

Later he met governor D.N. Sahay to apprise him of the progress in the work. The governor requested him to expedite the work.
