Dibrugarh, Dec. 10: Tinsukia Town Club Blues beat Saptarshi by 91 runs in a match of the First Chandra Dutta Invitation Cricket Tournament, organised by Tinsukia District Sports at its stadium in Tinsukia today.
Opting to bat, Tinsukia Town Club Blues scored 196 for nine in the allotted 40 overs. Pranjal Dutta topscored with 97, hitting 14 boundaries and two sixes. Rinku Rai contributed 24 (3x4).
For Saptarshi, Avinash Sharma took four wickets for 23 runs, while Piyush Bansal took two for 26.
In reply, Saptarshi were all out for 105 in 27.5 overs. Michael Singhphou scored 31 with the help of seven boundaries, while Narendra Prasad contributed 19.
For Tinsukia Town Club Blues, Aran Saikia scalped four for 14. Bhaskar Sonowal and Subham Sharma claimed two each.

B11 Division of Dibrugarh District Sports Association (DDSA) defeated 17 Garhwal Rifles 5-3 via tie-breaker in the inaugural match of the 12th edition of Jintu Gogoi Invitation Football Tournament, organised by Dao Division of the Army in association with DDSA, at Chowkidinghee ground here today.
Regulation time ended in a goalless draw. For B11 Division, Nitu Sonowal, Antony Saikia, Gayandeep Gohain, Bidyut Barua and Ronal Kachari converted the spot kicks.
On the other hand, Sunil Kumar, Ajit Ramdula and Manish Negi scored for 17 Garhwal Rifles. Subham Dhoni's shot missed the target. Tomorrow, Khowang Sports Football Club will play Rupjyoti Sangha, Jokai.
