Spiral stairs are considered inauspicious in feng shui. The best remedy in such situations is to place a plant or a screen in front of the stairs to slow down the movement of energy.
A round rug placed at the foot of the stairs will help the energy to gather and circulate. A wind chime placed just above the door will further help the energy to slow down.
Stairs are symbolic of rising in one’s life. If there are gaps in between, they drain away your wealth, which can lead to mental tension.
The only remedy in such a situation is to fill up these gaps. These little changes can bring in significant results.
In many houses it is seen that the toilet welcomes the visitor entering through the main door of the house. This could be the guest toilet or one that is connected to a bedroom. Relocating the entrance door in such cases is the ideal solution, but this is not always feasible.
The only other remedy that can be offered is to screen off the toilet with a heavy wooden partition.
In many modern houses, care is not taken to see what lies immediately above the entrance door. At times, there are toilets on the floor just above the entrance. This is considered inauspicious and extremely unlucky in feng shui.
The only remedy is either to relocate the entrance door or shift the bathroom above.
Broken glasses put on the boundary wall for protection maybe good for security, but are not beneficial to the residents.
Pointed arrows, which are installed for protection act as poison arrows.
If they are pointing towards your neighbouring house, it brings ill luck for the neighbours. But if they are pointing towards your house, then they become self-created poison arrows. When they are pointed towards the floor of your house, they gradually weaken the very foundation, causing downfall with the passage of time, especially when luck is not favouring you.
TIP OF THE WEEK:
Avoid multiple entrances to the house because it becomes confusing for the energy to decide which door to enter from! It is always better to have one solid and well-defined entrance from which concentrated energy flows and nourishes its inhabitants.
