Shillong, Nov. 14: The Shillong International Photo Festival will begin on Monday with a formal inauguration by Meghalaya chief minister Mukul Sangma.
The festival is being organised by the mass media department of St Anthony's College, Shillong, in collaboration with the Meghalaya information and public relations department. The aim of the festival is to make the society experience "media in its many hues".
The festival has a host of events lined up, including exhibitions, photo talks, photo walks, panel discussions and workshops.
Photographers on board include Raghu Rai, Manuel Vason, Prashant Panjiar, Rathika Ramasamy, Sumit Dayal and a host of others Meghalaya and the rest of the country. The festival will conclude on Thursday.
