Hailakandi, Feb. 25: To encourage talented footballers in the rural areas, the Dainik Jugasankha newspaper group will organise the 4th Barak Valley rural prize-money football tournament in collaboration with Silchar Football Academy.

Managing director of the Jugasankha group Bijoy Krishna Nath said they have found some exceptional talents in the rural areas.

The Barak Valley has been divided into eight zones for holding the meet. Cachar district has been divided into four zones — Lakhipur, Sonai, Palonghat and Kathigorah.
