Imphal, May 26: Imphal East District Football Association drubbed DSA Kakching 16-1 in the 12th Junior Girls’ Inter-District Football Tournament at Khuman Lampak sports complex today.

Kashmina of Imphal East was the topscorer, firing in seven goals, while Ranjita Devi struck four goals, Ranjana Chanu fetched two, Premi Devi, Radhapyari Devi and Ican Devi chipped in with one each. The lone goal for DSA Kakching came from Daya Devi in the second half.

U-14 soccer: Birchandra Singh Football Academy, Tabungkhok, entered the final of the 29th State Level Under-14 Football Tournament beating YOSC Khurai by 7-6 goals at Thangmeiband Athletic Union ground.

Sepak Takraw: The All Manipur Sepak Takraw Association will be organising the 14th Mini, 16th Sub Junior & Junior Boys and Girls, 29th Men & Women’s State Sepak Takraw Championship from June 9-14 at Khuman Lampak indoor stadium.

Memorial cricket: Model Club posted a 44-run victory against Reyoungster in the Brajabihari & Govind Paul Memorial Trophy at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground.
