Theatre award Lecture Film fest Food fest Camps Art show

Theatre award

The Natasurya award, 2004, will be awarded to veteran actor Tulsi Das by the directorate of cultural affairs at Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir, Guwahati, on Sunday at 5 pm by chief minister Tarun Gogoi.

Lecture

Stanley W. Samarasinghe, director, International Centre for Ethnic Studies, Sri Lanka, will deliver a talk on Sri Lanka: Challenges in Peace, Conflict, Development and Governance at 3.30 pm on Thursday at Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok, Guwahati.

Film fest

Ronald Joffe’s Killing Fields will be screened as part of the inaugural ceremony of the festival of journalism films at Vivekananda Kendra auditorium, Guwahati, on Friday at 5.15 pm.

Food fest

Chinese and Thai food festival at Hotel Natraj, Dibrugarh begins. A special chef from Calcutta will rustle up the dishes.

Camps

Art show
