Ranchi, Sept. 23: During festive seasons what could make customers, especially women, happier than a discount offer on diamonds!

Keeping in view the customer’s psyche, Tulsyan Jewellery here has decided to start a discount sale of not only the diamond jewellery but also the gold and silver ones.

On the occasion of the completion of ten years of service in Ranchi, the jewellery store has announced some special schemes for buyers. On September 25 customers would gets silver, gold and diamond jewellery with zero percent making charges. On September 26, a “Diamond Utsav” is on offer when diamond jewellery will have no making charges on them.

Pradeep Tulsyan, the proprietor of the store said, “We have been pioneers in selling designer jewellery in Ranchi and trend setters in the diamond jewellery making. Earlier diamonds were something beyond the purchasing power of a middle class buyer. Be it a wedding ring or a pendant, they decided to stick to gold. However, we decided to prepare a range for the middle class and our efforts proved fruitful.

For Tulsyan this was the paying back time to the loyal customers. “They have shown unwavering loyalty in the last 10 years,” he said.

Among the various varieties on the offer this season are polki (uncut diamond), solitaire (single large sized diamond), ruby, emerald, pearls and a host of other attractive stones. Keeping in mind the festive season at hand and next the wedding season to follow, the popular items have been kept in mind by the store. “The designs would go well with various kinds of ethnic dresses,” Tulsyan said.

The shop owner said that yellow gold and white gold were in demand in the city. White gold has a polish of rhodium or pallidium. Many customers also seek antique jewellery, in which gold is given a dark, dull polish. Such pieces are studded with stones.

The store has its own team of designers and workshops in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Jaipur. “We also hire designers from south at regular intervals to update our motifs,” Tulsyan said.
