Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra were among the celebrities who penned heartfelt notes for actress Preity Zinta to wish her on her 49th birthday on January 31.
Taking to his Instagram stories, former Team India cricketer Yuvraj Singh dropped a picture with the Kal Ho Naa Ho actress, sending her love on her special day.
“Lots of love on your special day Pzed. Cheers to another year of spreading smiles with those dimples.” read Yuvraj’s caption.
Yuvraj had served as the captain for Preity’s IPL team Punjab Kings (then called Kings XI Punjab) in the first two seasons of the cricket league.
Besides Yuvraj, the present captain of Punjab Kings, Shikhar Dhawan, also extended his warm wishes to the actress on social media.
Sharing a picture of Preity on his Instagram stories, the 38-year-old cricketer wrote, “Happy Birthday @realpz. May God Bless You With All The Happiness and Success.”
Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who recently starred alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut Indian Police Force, also dropped a throwback picture with Preity on her Instagram stories.
“Sending loads of love, tons of happy vibes and a big hug your way, my darling,” wrote Shilpa, wishing Preity a wonderful year ahead.
Preity, who made her acting debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Mani Ratnam’s 1998 romantic thriller Dil Se, last appeared in an episode of the American sitcom Fresh Off the Boat alongside comedian-actor Vir Das in 2020.
