Saswata (Neelkantha): Reason, debate and a story (Jukti Takko Aar Gappo), that sums up Ritwikbabu for me.

Abir (Dr S.P. Mukherjee): To me, he is an eternal enigma!

Bidipta (Shobha Sen): An emotional, madcap filmmaker! Someone who never followed rules yet had a tremendous inner discipline, otherwise he couldn’t have made such good films.

Subhasish (Bikram): A bohemian, indisciplined man. But we watch his films with tears in our eyes!

Shantilal (Manindra): Ritwikbabu is an icon!
