The trailer of The Marvels from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) franchise dropped on Friday, providing a glimpse of the thrilling action in store for fans.
The story revolves around Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), as she reclaims her true self from the oppressive Kree regime and seeks vengeance against the Supreme Intelligence. However, unexpected consequences emerge, thrusting Carol into the role of safeguarding an unstable universe. Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Marvels will hit theatres on November 10.
The Exorcist: Believer
The first look of The Exorcist: Believer, the much-awaited sequel to the iconic 1973 horror film by William Friedkin, was unveiled by the makers on Friday, ahead of the film’s theatrical release on October 13. The spine-chilling black-and-white photographs showcase a possessed child and a cross.
Directed by David Gordon Green, The Exorcist: Believer stars Lidya Jewett and Olivia Marcum in leading roles alongside Leslie Odom Jr, Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, Okwui Okpokwasili and Raphael Sbarge. Additionally, Ellen Burstyn will be reprising her role as Chris MacNeil from the first film.
At Home With The Furys
The first trailer of Netflix’s brand new series At Home With The Furys has been dropped by the streamer. In the show, viewers get an inside look at the world of the undefeated heavyweight champion Tyson Fury as he contemplates retiring from boxing and embracing a new chapter with his remarkable family.
The docu-series will primarily focus on Tyson, his wife Paris and their children. Covering a period from spring 2022 to spring 2023, the multi-part series will delve into the pivotal moments of Tyson's decision to retire after defeating Dillian Whyte in April of the previous year, followed by his surprising return to face Derek Chisora eight months later.
Nikhoj
The trailer of Hoichoi’s latest mystery thriller Nikhoj, starring Tota Roy Choudhury and Swastika Mukherjee, was dropped by the streaming platform on Thursday. The series features Swastika as a cop whose daughter has gone missing. The 17-second-long trailer shows news anchor Romit Sen (Tota) being grilled by the police regarding the case of the missing girl. Directed by Ayan Chakraborti, Nikhoj will be streaming August 11 onwards.
3 Ekka
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter on Friday to release the trailer of the upcoming Gujarati film 3 Ekka. The film, produced by Bachchan’s friend Anand Pandit, revolves around three clueless young boys trying to make money by turning a simple-middle-class home into a secret gambling den. It is a situational comedy and the trailer too radiates the fun and chaotic energy of the plot. Featuring Hitu Kanodiya, Kinjal Rajpriya, Esha Kansara, Tarjanee Bhadla, Chetan Daiya in key roles, the Rajesh Sharma-directed movie will release on August 18.
