Folks in formals happily left their laptops and iPads unattended to kick loose office stress and just party at XOXO Lounge and Bar in Salt Lake, Sector V, on Friday night. The reason? Switch Office Hour, a concept presented by 100 Pipers and partnered by t2. It was an opportunity for the IT crowd in Sector V to let their hair down and blast through a killer mix of music, grub and tipple.
“The idea was to allow our guests to relax a little and not worry about boardroom discussions,” said Krish Banik, CEO, EMG Events, the event manager for the party.
While plates of Dry Chilli Chicken, Chicken Lollipop and Chicken 65 were washed down with beer and whisky, keeping those happy feet in high spirits were songs like Summer of ’69, The Final Countdown and Shalala la la.
