‘Kareena and I don’t have that equation anymore’

Karan Johar (to Shahid Kapoor): This is the first time you’re here without the girlfriend.

Shahid Kapoor: I have a terrible memory… I keep forgetting what happened in the previous days so I really wouldn’t remember.

Karan: Have you erased Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra from your memory?

Shahid: That’s not possible. They’re very big stars and they’re in the papers every day, so you can’t erase them out of your memory… but I do have a bad memory, so most things of the past are forgotten.

Karan: Which is the one you’d rather erase, between the two?

Shahid: It’s a difficult choice. Karan: What is your status with them… do you wish them at parties?

Shahid: Yeah, yeah… honestly with Kareena, I’ve not interacted with her at all ever since. I’ve bumped into her once and it was mildly awkward, I would say, but we were both trying to be formal and nice. With Priyanka, I’ve hung around a lot and it’s always been good and we’ve done films together and it’s chilled out. Karan: So you can hang out as friends today and not worry about the past?

Shahid: With Priyanka for sure… with Kareena we don’t have that equation anymore.

‘I’m scared of dating an actress’

Karan: Who would you like to date?

Shahid: Not an actress! I’m so done with that.

Karan: You’re twice bitten, many times shy?

Shahid: How many times bitten why should I tell you?

Sonakshi Sinha: Many times bitten, now shy!

Shahid: Now I’m being Shy-hid!

Karan: So you don’t think Alia, Parineeti, Shraddha …?

Shahid: They’re fabulous girls and I would love to work with them, but I’m a little scared of dating an actress for sure.

Karan: What is the one thing that you’ve learned from dating an actress?

Shahid: Do not date them!

Karan: A rumour that you wish someone would start?

Karan: What is your wildest fantasy?

Karan: What would you do with Scarlett Johansson that is a fantasy?

Shahid: I would do so many things that everything in her life will just break up because of me.

‘Kareena should be a gossip columnist’

Karan (to Sonakshi): If not in the industry what should Parineeti Chopra do?

Sonakshi: Marketing… that’s what she was doing, na?

Karan: Alia?

Sonakshi: She should complete her education.

Karan: And Kareena, who thought you should be a housewife?

Sonakshi: I think she should be a gossip columnist!

Karan: What would you do if you woke up in the morning as Deepika?

Sonakshi: I would thank the lord for giving me such a fantastic body!

Karan: What does Parineeti have that you don’t?

Sonakshi: Aditya Chopra. Karan: Alia Bhatt?

Sonakshi: Karan Johar. Karan: Shraddha Kapoor?

Sonakshi: Mahesh Bhatt.

“I watch Koffee with Karan regularly and love the rapid-fire round. I have been trying to win the KWK cup for the past few weeks. Last Sunday, I woke up at 5am, went to collect the newspaper from my vendor and mailed the answers from my phone. I am ecstatic to win this cup. Now I will go back and show it to all my friends,” said Pankaj, a resident of Howrah who works as a trader in a stockbroking firm.
