Actor Salman Khan on Tuesday was mobbed by a surge of fans while attending an event in Mumbai, show videos circulating on social media.
Salman was attending the President Cup 2026 event at Dadoji Konddev Stadium in Thane. For the event, the actor kept it casual in a brown shirt paired with blue jeans.
In videos doing the rounds on social media, the 60-year-old actor is seen trying to leave the venue while fans surround him from all sides.
Other videos show the actor making his exit in a police convoy, with security struggling to keep fans at bay.
Reacting to the viral clips, netizens raised concerns about Salman’s security — an issue that has been in focus ever since the actor received multiple death threats.
In April 2025, Salman received a death threat via a message sent to Mumbai’s Transport Department number in Worli, warning that the sender would enter his Galaxy Apartments home and blow up his car.
The threat came a year after two bikers fired gunshots at his residence on April 14, 2024, before fleeing the scene.
“Oh my gosh I get it people are really big fans but it’s disrespectful if he has no space to walk… like give him space,” wrote a fan. “Oh my gosh I get it people are really big fans but it’s disrespectful if he has no space to walk… like give him space,” wrote another X user.
On the work front, Salman is currently gearing up for the release of Maatrubhumi (previously titled Battle of Galwan), which is slated to hit theatres on August 15.
He has also teamed up with Telugu producer Dil Raju for his next film, tentatively titled SVC63. The upcoming drama will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
