RRR director S.S. Rajamouli and Golden Globe-winning music composer M.M Keeravani had a fan moment recently as they met veteran Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg at a party hosted by Universal Pictures.

In the first photo, Rajamouli looks starstruck as he stands in front of Spielberg for a short conversation. The next photo has him posing with the filmmaker along with Golden Globe-winning music composer M.M. Keeravani. “I just met GOD!!!,” Rajamouli wrote.

Keeravani, who recently won the Golden Globe Award for Naatu Naatu from RRR, was also elated to meet the celebrated filmmaker and hear him praise his song. He shared a picture from their meeting and wrote, “And I couldn’t believe it when he said he liked Naatu Naatu.”

The 61-year-old music composer also told Spielberg about his love for the movies the veteran filmmaker makes. “Had the privilege of meeting the God of movies and say in his ears that I love his movies including DUEL like anything,” he wrote on Twitter.

Spielberg, a two-time Academy Award winner, is one of the most recognisable filmmakers around the globe and has helmed blockbusters like Jaws, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Munich and The Fabelmans.

Team RRR is currently taking the award season by storm in the US. After their success at the Golden Globes, the team is set for the 95th Academy Awards, to be held on March 12.

RRR — starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani — became a global blockbuster and collected over Rs 1.200 crore worldwide.
