Day look

Base: A combination of moisturiser and primer is followed by a dab of light foundation. “A primer holds the foundation better and gives your face an even finish,” says Abhijit as he works on Sonika Chauhan’s face.

Eyes: A winged look with a difference, where the upper and lower eyelid wings do not come together. Draw the upper eyelid with a black eye pencil and soften it with a smudge of dark and soft-brown eyeshadow. Finish with lots of mascara.

Lips: Dark peach.

Blush: In keeping with a fresh palette, blend peach and brown on the cheeks.

Hair: After texturing it with a tong, tie it up casually.

Evening look

Eyes: To glam up, go for golden-metallic eyes. Contour golden eyeshadow with matte-finish brown eyeshadow and then line the upper lid with black eyeliner. Smudge bronze and brown on the lower lid. Finish with mascara.

Lips: Matte pinkish-red lips are perfect for a Diwali party.

Blush: Use peach and pink on the cheeks.

Hair: Blow-dry your hair and pile up in a bouffant and a casual French knot. Set with hairspray.
