Poet and lyricist Ritam Sen recently organised an intimate concert that focused on a host of independent songs. On the occasion, a new music video called Bhalolagar Gaan was launched. The song is sung by Lagnajita Chakraborty and is composed by Tamalika. Ritam has written the lyrics.
“Through the video, we have showcased how an artiste creates her art through the process of symbiosis with nature. Several art forms like graffiti, painting and other works of art have been portrayed in the music video. The ever-changing climate and its effect on the environment also has been showcased in the video,” said Ritam.
“Ritam is one of the friends whom I have known for a long time now. We have enjoyed the process of making this single. Another thing which excites me is the idea of an intimate concert. We as artistes get very few opportunities to sing while being in the audience, and that’s a different kind of feeling for me,” said Lagnajita.
