An ambivert is someone who lies in the grey zone between an extrovert and an introvert. We are much more in number than you would believe. Here’s what you need to know about us:

♦ We like being around people. We love parties and social gatherings. But we don’t have the social skills to “work” a party.
Having qualities of both an extrovert and an introvert works against us and we feel very out of place. 

♦ We also love those quiet moments when we can just be our own selves and do our own thing.

♦ We like making friends but the “hey, you look so pretty today. We should definitely talk about that dress” is not our strong suit. This often makes us look stand-offish.

♦ We aren’t people who will keep calling or messaging you if you do not ping us first once in a while. 

♦ We are those people who look very quiet at first sight, but ask our friends (who are few in number) and you will know that we can chew your ear off with our blabbering.

♦ We can be adventurous and be open to going bungee jumping with you but we also would be equally enthusiastic if our afternoon involves a hot cup of coffee and a good book.
