The burgers: Craving a burger but looking for something quirky? The month-long Bao and Burger Festival at Hoppipola is what you need. You can choose from a variety of burgers like the Pan Fried Chicken, Pulled Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Shami Kebab, Mexican Burrito, Quinoa and Corn, and Crispy Cottage Cheese for a price range of Rs 245 to Rs 325. Added incentive? A beer for Rs 50 for every burger ordered.

A regular shami kebab is the patty for the Lamb Shami Kebab Burger, which is served up with wedges, mint mayo and coleslaw.

“We mix the tandoori chicken with capsicum and tomatoes and add sriracha sauce, coriander and a hot and spicy marinade,” said chef Surojit Aloysius Haldar of Hoppipola, Acropolis Mall. The tangy Pulled Tandoori Chicken Burger is served with potato wedges and a hatke mint mayo, which includes raw mango, coriander, mango ginger, regular ginger and more.

For a Tex-Mex feel, try the Mexican Burrito Burger. It is burrito in a patty! And it is served with salsa and sour cream.
