From its world premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York to being named India's official entry to the Best International Feature Film category at the 2023 Academy Awards, Last Film Show has been celebrating Indian cinema and Indian culture around the globe.

The Gujarati-language coming-of-age drama has already been lauded by the biggest names in the Indian film industry and beyond. Based on director Pan Nalin's own childhood memories, it is an organic and emotionally charged drama set in the midst of films, food, family and friends.

“What began as a mere dream for us has now culminated in a movement across the world. We are grateful for all the love our movie Last Film Show (Chhello Show) has been receiving as it represents the best of Indian culture, innovation, and enterprise,” according to a joint statement by producers Siddharth Roy Kapur and Dheer Momaya and director Pan Nalin.

Last Film Show tells the story of a small boy who overcomes incredible odds to fulfil his dream — a loving metaphor for the ethos of striving that characterises this great nation,” the statement further reads.

Last Film Show is produced by Roy Kapur Films, Jugaad Motion Pictures, Monsoon Films and Chhello Show LLP. It is being released by Roy Kapur Films in partnership with PVR Pictures across cinemas in India.
