If burgers are your fave, then get ready for an artsy twist to it at Chili’s. The Tex-Mex chain has introduced four new burgers with fresh flavours at its Art of Burger festival.
“Burgers have always been our speciality and one of our top sellers, so it was time we gave people more options. People who don’t experiment with burgers are also going for the festival burgers,” said Sherlock Rozario, area director, east, Chili’s. Burgers stuffed with bacon, cheese, chicken and a veggie are the highlights of the menu that also comes with three thick shakes and a summery dessert.
Chicken-Loaded Pulled Chicken Burger: If you think burgers are dry, this pulled chicken burger proves you wrong. Shredded chicken is mixed with cajun spices and a red spicy sauce, along with coleslaw and pico de gallo, to make one delish bite. The buns of all the burgers are made with potato starch, making them springy.
Magnificent Spinach and Corn Cheese Burst Burger: Spinach, good. Corn, good. Melty cheese oozing out of the patty, very good. The veggie option from the festival has a spinach-and-corn patty that is stuffed with Cheddar cheese, rolled in breadcrumb and cooked, so that when you bite in, your mouth is greeted with oodles of cheese. You can choose from a selection of Chimi-Parmesan Fries (coated with a tangy chimichurri sauce) or Garlic Parmesan fries.
Creamy Mango Cheese Cake: This mango mousse dessert has a base of rich chocolate cake which sits on a drizzle of mango puree. Not overly sweet is what makes this dessert a summer fave.
Bacon Perfection Burger: If you love rashers, go for this. Choose from a chicken or tenderloin patty which, apart from strips of bacon and a slice of Cheddar on top of the patty, also has bacon bits. Porky perfection!
If you like thick shakes, choose the Oreo Shake (right), Molten Shake or Coffee Toffee Shake. If it’s tipple you like, choose from vodka-based summer coolers like Cucumber Jalapeno Sangarita, June Bug and Watermelon Mint Cooler (left).

The Drink Today Drive Later contest organised by Chili’s Calcutta gave you a chance to participate in a lucky draw contest by purchasing a Jameson drink or cocktail and win a Harley-Davidson Street 750. The contest which took place from February 1 to March 31 saw one lucky winner — Abhilash Nandi — zoom out of Acropolis mall on the mean machine. “I’m elated after winning the contest! My lucky potion was a generous helping of Jameson Irish Whiskey from the Quest mall outlet. I was always in awe of the engineering and design of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Now, owning one has accelerated my fan-man quotient!” said Abhilash, an entrepreneur.
