Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone will play an egoistical CEO in her next film, Corporate Animals. She will be joined by Ed Helms and Jessica Williams in the comedy film, which will be directed by Patrick Brice with a script from Sam Bain. Stone, 60, will play Lucy, the boss of Incredible Edibles, where during a corporate team-building caving weekend, they get trapped underground and the mismatched and disgruntled group must pull together in order to survive, amidst sexual tension and startling business revelations. The film will be shot in New Mexico and work is expected to start soon.

Hollywood star Bruce Willis will star in Cornerstone as  legendary boxing trainer Constantine “Cus” D’Amato.  The 63-year-old actor will play Mike Tyson’s boxing trainer in the film, written and to be directed by Homeland helmer Rupert Friend. This will be Friend’s feature-length directorial debut. The Hollywood Reporter wrote that the plot centres on how D’Amato, an International Boxing Hall of Fame member who worked with bigwigs such as Floyd Patterson and Jose Torres, was introduced to a 13-year old Tyson after having reluctantly retired as a boxing coach. Producers are set to begin a worldwide search for the actor who will portray Tyson.

Zootopia voice star Jenny Slate will produce and starring in the drama The Sunlit Night. The 36-year-old actress will be joined by Zach Galifianakis, Gillian Anderson of The X-Files, and Jessica Hecht in the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film has been adapted from Rebecca Dinerstein’s debut novel of the same name and is set between New York City and the far north of Norway. It follows American painter Frances and emigre Yasha, an unlikely pair who find each other in the Arctic Circle. Frances has arrived to jump-start her career, while Yasha has come to bury his father in the land of the Vikings.

It’s the month of weddings in B-town. After the Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja and Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi ceremonies, singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Sonia Kapoor in a simple ceremony on Friday. The ceremony, held at Himesh’s residence, was a close-knit affair with just close family and friends attending. Himesh’s parents and son Swaym were also present.

Spider-Man will go a globe-trotting adventure in Homecoming 2 after Kevin Feige confirmed that the film will be shot in London. The Marvel Studios president said the next Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland will take place primarily outside Peter Parker’s hometown of Queens, New York. “We start filming early July. We film in London. We shot (the) first film in Atlanta. We shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe,” Feige said.
