While ogling Bill, we also can’t help sneak a peek at his big bro, Alexander Skarsgard (far left), who you’ll remember from True Blood and Zoolander.

Durga Puja is almost here and that means for us, campus kids, it’s time for Puja vacay! We are now spending our days dreaming about our Saptami adda at Maddox Square, the para bhog on Ashtami and the special dress that we’ve picked up for Navami, and not giving a hoot about our classes. Also, the thought of friends living outside the city coming back for the holidays is making us giddy with joy!

AIB released a new video starring Kangana Ranaut called The Bollywood Diva Song, where the chorus goes “Coz I have a vagina re”. We cannot help but giggle at how Kangana hit it out of the park, calling out instances of sexism she faced in the film industry and urging us to break that glass ceiling. The irony is strong in the video, with references to the Hrithik Roshan scandal and to Karan Johar’s comment on Kangana playing the “victim card”. #IHaveAVaginaRe has gone viral on campus. The #Virushka storm has hit us again and we can’t stop aww-ing at the lovebirds. After hitting it off while shooting a shampoo commercial four years ago, real-life couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have reunited to shoot another commercial, this time for Calcutta’s home-grown brand Manyavar. And they look gorgeous together! Does this mean that we’ll get to see more of this power couple in public? One can only hope.

These girls just took #FriendshipGoals to a whole new high! Singer-actress Selena Gomez (left) has revealed how friend and actress Francia Raisa donated her a kidney when she needed a transplant. Selena, who suffers from a chronic autoimmune disease called lupus, is doing great and working on a new Woody Allen film. The touching Instagram picture of Selena and Francia holding hands when they were in hospital that Sel posted recently has already gone viral. We totally heart a friendship like this! #SoulSisters

Did you know that you can now have pink chocolate? Developed by Barry Callebaut, the world’s largest cocoa producer, the pink-coloured chocolate has been named ‘Ruby’ and took 13 years to develop since the company first discovered a new kind of cocoa bean in their lab. “Pure pleasure and hedonistic delight,” is how the manufacturers are describing it. The pleasure of our taste buds aside, imagine how nice it will look on our Instagram feed? But seems we’ll have to wait a bit for this treat to hit India.

The bookworms of Bhawanipur Education Society College are making everyone else jealous! Bestselling author Amish of Shiva Trilogy fame visited their campus on the eve of Hindi Diwas, where he posed for pictures and signed copies of his books for his young readers. That’s not all. On Monday, Chetan Bhagat visited the Elgin Road campus for their graduation ceremony!

With Omprakash ‘The Rapking’ Mishra’s song Bol na aunty aau kya that has lyrics like Dekh ke jawani teri jhatka menu lagta hai, neeche wala dekh mera salute tenu karta hai going viral and teenagers actually assembling to sing this song in chorus in different cities, we just have one question: how much longer will it take for feminism to drive home the point that these songs are Misogynistic, Not Funny?! And So Uncool. 

GoT bummer

We were crushed that Game of Thrones, for the first time in six years, was not nominated for the Emmys because Season 7 released after May 31, 2017 — the cut-off date for the nominations. So this year, we rooted for Stranger Things and Westworld instead.

In other news (read: rumours) word on the street is that the makers of GoT are shooting multiple endings for their grand finale to beat hackers at their game. We are just hoping that our least favourite character does not get the throne because of those damn hackers!

We are thrilled to hear that Patty Jenkins (left) is returning to direct Wonder Woman 2. She has sent our expectations soaring with Wonder Woman, which made her the highest-grossing female director in Hollywood. With both actress 
Gal Godot and Jenkins returning for the sequel, we can hardly wait for the duo to recreate their brand of shero magic on the silver screen! #CantKeepCalm
