Bistro by the park turned three

Bistro By The Park, the bistro on Middleton Row that still greets its customers with a menu on an iPad, turned three with style on Wednesday.

Present at the bash thrown by chef Shaun Kenworthy, who has designed the Bistro menu, was a merry bunch, all enjoying the free-flowing glasses of tipple that did the rounds and the camaraderie that ensued.

“To celebrate the occasion, we have introduced a hookah section in the bistro, keeping in mind the preferences of the young crowd in the city,” said Nikhil Bhambani, director of the bistro. The hookah section boasts 34 different flavours and a variety of bases.

The menu has also undergone a change. “We have replaced around 25 dishes. The hookah section also has a completely different menu,” said Arindam Banerjee, general manager of the dine den.

So the next time you’re there, try the Crusty Mustard Chicken with Mustard Mayonnaise, Five Spice Marinated Fishcake with Sweet Chilli Dip, and Indian Pickle Marinated Cottage Cheese.
