Team Atletico de Kolkata — (l-r) Utsav Parekh, Sanjiv Goenka, Saharsh Parekh and Harsh Neotia — picked up the Innovation Excellence award at the National Library Auditorium on Tuesday evening. “Just came back from seeing a football training academy in Khardah that we are starting to build. The first step is to arrange the facilities. It’s still early days,” smiled Utsav. Sanjiv and Harsh were also feted with Business Leadership awards. For Sanjiv, the chairman of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, “belief in yourself” and “following your instincts” always works. “No substitute for integrity and hard work,” was Ambuja Neotia Group chairman Harsh’s tip.
“The CMA awards have endeavoured to commemorate, recognise and applaud the leaders in corporate governance besides motivating business leaders and entrepreneurs towards increasing growth and employment opportunities. It was indeed a memorable evening for me as CMA honoured the captains and pace-setters while I was given the opportunity to honour some of my favourite people and best friends,” said Ghanshyam Sarda (extreme right) of Agarpara Jute Mills Ltd.
