Autumn-winter for you is about...
Huma Qureshi: Autumn-winter is all about changing colours, about shades of gold, red and orange. After the scorching summer heat, it is such a relief when the mellowed-down weather is here. With the change in the weather comes a change in fashion as well. The coming season allows us to stylise with jackets, cardigans, sweaters, boots; it gives a great opportunity to include layering in your style.
I love all the looks in this HUMA X KOOVS collection. They are so vibrant, so easy to wear and it’s a very modern take on traditional wear. For the weather in India… for summer, it’s perfect. It resonates how I really am from the inside.
Your autumn-winter wardrobe has...
Huma Qureshi: I have a mixed wardrobe as I love casuals but love dressing up. So, one may find various styles.
You are colour-crushing on...
Huma Qureshi: Blue.
Your go-to colour...
Huma Qureshi: Black.
Your sense of style ...
Huma Qureshi: For me, comfort is of utmost importance, which is the reason why you would see me in casuals at the airport as compared to dresses with heels. Then come events for which I love experimenting with looks and enjoy the process of trying on several outfits and getting ready for a big event.
Your style icons when you were growing up...
Huma Qureshi: I resonate with really elegantly-dressed women, such as Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Maharani Gayatri Devi… people who are elegantly dressed without trying too hard.
An all-time favourite silhouette that you keep going back to when in doubt...
Huma Qureshi: Jeans and a jacket or a long maxi.
You love the dewy look because...
Huma Qureshi: The dewy look is minimal, basic and adds dimension to the face. With this the skin looks luminous, youthful, fresh and not made up.
And middle-parted hair...
Huma Qureshi: It is one of the easiest and chic hairstyles. It complements every look.
You love statement earrings too.
Huma Qureshi: They can make or break a look. I love earrings.
Is there something you have borrowed from your brother Saqib Saleem’s wardrobe?
Huma Qureshi: Loads of times. Sometimes I have stolen his clothes while growing up. Now we end up twinning without realising it.
Hero of the moment:
Huma Qureshi: Always Leo (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Ranbir Kapoor… not in that order always.
Heroine of the moment:
Huma Qureshi: Alia Bhatt.

Huma Qureshi: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo.
Film of the moment:
