Dubai’s Club Boudoir opened its second stop on Shakespeare Sarani in October. Spread over 7,000sq ft, the sprawling nightclub has plush Versace interiors, shiny disco balls, three private sections, a well-lit bar and figurines of music icons like Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson. The party pad also boasts a 1,200sq ft banquet.

The city found its first real sky bar in Ozora. Situated on the 20th floor of Acropolis mall, the 25,000sq ft space has a  Skydeck, banquet, executive and conference room, pool and lounge. The top draw? The 10,000sq ft Skydeck that offers a 360-degree view of Kasba’s skyline and makes you feel on top of the world, literally! Turn to Page 40 for the opening party!

High-energy restobar The Grid at 86A Topsia Road opened on July 16, paving the way for new-age pubs in the city. It soon became one of most crowded hot spots around, proof that the party crowd was ready to step out of Park Street. The highlights here? The bar designed with Lego, the decor by Ayaz Basrai (who also did Bombay Canteen and Churchgate Socials), and the F&B menu. Hope the brewery opens soon!

We miss you!

After a seven-year run, Plush, the party den at Astor hotel that stood witness to many a cray party, bid Calcutta goodbye on April 16 with a promise to make a “comeback”. Watch this space for more!
