Debutant director Chetan has released his Kaala Patthar movie poster today. The film stars Vikky Varun in the lead role. Vikky was is from the team of Duniya Suri was seen playing a quiet and funny boy next door character in his last outings Kenda Sampige and College Kumar. He is all beefed up in the poster of Kaala Patthar. The story is rumoured to be the story of a rowdy Kaala Patthar who existed in the 80’s and 90’s. Vikky has accepted a movie after three years and the reason seems to be quite evident on the poster. He was working out!

The title of the film was registered for the late actor Ambareesh, who wanted to remake the Hindi movie Kaala Patthar staring Amitabh Bacchan. The title is now used by produced HP Naveen. Udith Haritas of Arishadvarga fame is scoring music for the film. The lead actress and the other artists are yet to be finalised. The story is written by D Satya Prakash who previously had written Rama Rama Re and Ondalla Yeradalla. ”The shooting was supposed to be completed by now, but because of the Pandemic, we have started working on it now and the team is all excited, as it is a very good project,” says Vikky.
