Hidden in one of the bylanes of Southern Avenue, Wabi Sabi is a dreamy place where you can unwind with your folks after a long day or relax with a book in the corner over cups of coffee and nutritious vegetarian dishes.
“The name ‘Wabi Sabi’ means ‘finding beauty in imperfection’ in Japanese. We friends were thinking of opening a cafe in late 2015... something out of the box. The name was proposed by one of the co-owners as it synced with what we had in mind. Then we got in touch with Bidyut Roy, a friend famous for his eco-friendly architecture, who gave shape to our dreams. Our aim was to give a natural and local flavour to the cafe. We are planning a separate organic menu soon,” said Falguni Bhatt, co-founder.
Here are a few things, on and off the table, that caught our eye at Wabi Sabi that blends the natural with contemporary designs.
