Gaya, June 24: A collision between Rampurhat-Sahebganj Passenger train and a truck today morning left the driver and the cleaner of the vehicle injured.
However, no passenger travelling on the train sustained any kind of injury.
The incident took place at an unmanned railway crossing near Harli village ahead of the Paimar station on Rampurhat-Sahebganj line at around 8am today.
Soon after the collision, train movement on this section remained suspended for around five-and-a-half hours.
The incident occurred when the truck loaded with boulders failed to cross the railway tracks.

The Rampurhat-Sahebganj Passenger train arrived at the time when the truck was trying to cross the unmanned crossing and finally hit the truck.
The truck was ripped apart into at least three pieces, while the engine of the train also suffered damages after the collision.
S. Bhattacharya, the area officer of Mughalsarai division posted in Gaya, visited the accident spot.
He told The Telegraph: “The Howrah-Gaya Express, Kiul-Gaya Passenger and the Rajgir-DMU Passenger trains were delayed because of the collision. Movement on the Rampurhat-Sahebganj section remained disrupted between 9am and 2.30pm today.”
The area officer added that a separate engine was sent from Gaya to bring the Rampurhat-Sahebganj Passenger train to Gaya station.
The injured driver and the cleaner of the truck have been admitted at Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital in Gaya.
