The elderly will become nostalgic dressing up as yesteryear actors at a daylong summer camp to be organised by the Rotary Patna Mid Town on June 2.
The camp will be organised at Popular Residency and around 100 senior members will take part in it.
Club president Shailendra Kumar said: “We have always seen that the elderly become upset as they feel there are no fun activities for them. So, we have taken out some time to give them an opportunity to enjoy. We have organised various activities like games, competitions besides dance and song performances.”
Kumar added that the senior citizens would come dressed as yesteryear actors and actresses. At the end of the camp they will receive prizes for their performances.
Kumar said: “We want to make the elderly feel special. We have also organised for games like housie/tambola to make the event interesting.”
