l Patna: Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday arrested Kedar Prasad Yadav, an employee in the revenue department in Nalanda district, while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from one Ramadhin Prasad. Prasad had approached the bureau claiming that Yadav was demanding bribe for mutation of his land.

In another incident, the vigilance sleuths on Tuesday arrested Om Prakash, the medical officer in-charge of the Mehsi primary health centre in East Champaran, while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 6,000 from Sunita Kumari, a nurse of the health hub, in lieu of registering her attendance.

l Patna: The Patna unit president of the LJP youth wing, Hrishikesh Singh, on Tuesday withdrew his decision of quitting the party at a function in the presence of Ram Vilas Paswan and Chirag Paswan.

l Patna: NGO Prem Youth Foundation organised a workshop on quail farming on Tuesday, in which veterinarian Rajendra Sharma spoke on its benefits.
