The ministers are ready to play host to JD(U) supporters coming to the city on November 4 for Adhikar Rally. From food to mosquito coils, they are arranging everything at their official residences for the guests.

Healthy food

Menu: Puri, mixed vegetable (potato and cauliflower), baigan bari (recipe of brinjal with gravy) and bundia (sweet dish) will be served to people reaching on November 3. Before marching towards Gandhi Maidan on November 4, rice, daal and two vegetables would be served. After rally, packets consisting samosa, laddu and cutlet will be served.
Extra care: Besides the Sarairanjan MLA, his wife Ganga Choudhary is overseeing the arrangements. “Before cooking any food, wash the utensils properly. There should not be any dust. A lot of people will come from far-off places and they should feel good and happy with the hospitality here,” Ganga told the cooks.
She was seen inspecting the makeshift kitchen for the guests. She also gave tips to the cooks.
Power punch

Menu: Puri and mixed vegetables (potato and cauliflower) along with pickle for dinner on November 3. Next morning, rice, daal and mixed vegetable will be served after herbal tea.
Extra care: Plenty of food would be dished out, ample space would be provided for taking rest but there would be no arrangement for entertainment. Singh said: “Nitishji has strictly asked all of us not to make any arrangement for entertainment. It does not look nice, it is strictly prohibited.”
Singh has paid electricity bill of Rs 1,675 in advance, as extra power would be consumed because of guests’ presence.

Menu: Puri, mixed vegetables (potato and pointed gourd), daal, papad and pickle will be served in dinner on November 3. Vegetable cutlet, roti, mixed vegetable, bundia, papad, mint sauce and curd will be served in breakfast before rally.
Extra care: The minister was seen preparing shahi namkeen for the guests on Friday. Kushwaha, who represents Pipra Assembly seat in East Champaran district, said: “I have booked 107 buses to bring people from my constituency. They will be offered good and tasty food. Chief minister Nitish Kumar’s Adhikar Rally has given us an opportunity to serve our people.”

Menu: Two types of mixed vegetable, rice, daal, papad and bundia
Extra care: Singh has given the duty of making arrangements for the guests to his two sons, Sumit Kumar Singh and Ajay Pratap Singh who represent Chakai and Jamui Assembly seats, respectively.
Sumit said: “We will ensure that people coming from our constituencies get the best food.”
Sumit was present at the makeshift kitchen to personally check the quality of food being prepared.

Extra care: “At our place, we treat guests like God. The JD(U) workers will reach my residence early in the morning on the rally day (November 4). We will offer them a good meal before leaving for the venue,” said Mishra, who represents Jhanjharpur Assembly seat in Madhubani district.
