| Kai Po Che! If the Gujarati phrase that means “I have cut the kite” gives you goosebumps, just head to Funtasia Island water park on January 12. IndiaTourism Patna, an organisation working under the tourism ministry, would for the first time organise a kite festival at the amusement hub. Sixty people have already got themselves registered for the event by Friday, with only 20 slots remaining. “We are organising our first kite festival as part of pre-Makar Sankranti celebrations with dual purposes — to promote regional festivals and tourist destinations in the city. Funtasia Island is a popular tourist destination and we want to promote it further,” said Sagnik Choudhary, director, IndiaTourism Patna.
